Child Dedications are a commitment between parents and God on behalf of their child, promising to raise their children in the faith until they are old enough to make their own personal decision to follow Christ. Our goal as the church is to join with you and equip you to build a spiritually healthy home. We want to be your biggest fans, your strongest supporters, and your trusted guides as you raise your child to know what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus. What ages are eligible for Child Dedication?

Children ages birth through 5th grade are eligible to be a part of child dedications.

Do I have to be a member of Action Church to dedicate my child?

Yes, the Child Dedication ceremony is for families that are members of Action Church. If you are not a member, we invite you to join us for Action Steps at your location! To learn more visit theactionchurch.com/steps

How many family members can attend my child’s dedication?

You are more than welcome to bring as many family members as you would like to see your child get dedicated.

Do I need to bring anything to Child Dedication?

No, we can’t wait to host you and your family!

What should my family wear?

You and your family can come in whatever you are comfortable wearing.

What should I expect when I arrive for Child Dedications?

If you are registered at our Oviedo or Sanford Locations, Child Dedications will be held during our weekend service. Due to the large volume of children being dedicated at our Winter Park Location, their Child Dedication will happen after services as a separate ceremony. Your Location’s Kids Coordinator will reach out ahead of time to give you and your family instructions on arrival and more details about the event!
